Conrad has cerebal palsy but has lived independently for nearly 30 years. He has always been interested in politics and for many years supported the Labour Party but in 2015 became disillusioned with them and joined the Liberal Democrats to continue his campaigns to improve Ipswich.
Conrad has made a significant contribution to the work of Ipswich Liberal democrats and the Liberal Democrats Disability Association. Because of his disability he faces great challenges when communicating verbally but his mastery of modern technology has opened up new possibilities.
Conrad is also keenly interested in ensuring that Ipswich is accessible to people with limited mobility and campaigns to improve pedestrian safety. If elected he would bring a fresh and new perspective to council debates and work to ensure the public spaces of Suffolk are accessible to all.
